EN [ENA] "Open" the Dubai Airshow 2019. The Show - not open to the public - takes place from 17 to 21 November, exhibiting about 200 commercial and military aircraft. The 2019 event, which has now become the most important of the three main airshows on the planet, welcomes more than 160 official delegations.

One hundred new companies made their debut in the Dubai Airshow in 2019, with new arrivals in the defense, ATC, maintenance and supply sectors, all shown for the first time at the fair. The number of exhibitors present increased by almost ten percent this year, with 1288 companies setting up their stands and the business was brisk during the first four days of proceedings. But the event in the Emirates is proving to be an exceptional year also for the purchases and maintenance agreements of the armed forces UAE.

For the first time in 2019, a growing focus on space exploration at the regional level has been recognized with its conference program, which opened with Women in Space, hosted by the United Arab Emirates Space Agency and presented speakers of the United Nations and Boeing, among others.
